“ Hidden gem not far from Chester. Beautiful setting, decor, and food with excellent service. The menu has something for everybody, and all food is top class. The bar is also well stocked with a great variety of everything and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. A must visit if you ask me! ”

I visited with a child and the kids food was equally excellent; clearly homemade. I saw several burgers coming out of the kitchen too and they also looked great. “ Well, let’s start with the front of house (Stavros) who is excellent. So welcoming and attentive with a ‘nothing is a problem’ attitude. Moving onto the food, the photos speak for themselves. The hake with lobster bisque was out of this world! Some of the tastiest food we’ve experienced. Starter and dessert equally flawless. Zero faults to be found with all three courses and we wish we lived closer so that we could visit every week. We envy the local people! Highly, highly recommended. ”

“ This is by far our favourite place to come to eat out! From the amazing food, super friendly staff to the decor of the restaurant, everything is just perfect for a lovely meal out. Their roast dinners are by far the biggest portions I have come across and delicious is an understatement. It's made with fresh local produce and cooked by a chef who's been voted in the top 5 in Cheshire and I can understand why. The buttermilk chicken burger I had today was the best I have ever had! It was so thick, and the chicken was succulent. I love how the owner Stav, manager Pri and all staff are always so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. It really makes it a great atmosphere inside. Also has a covered, heated garden area to eat and drink where dogs are welcome too. Guarantee if you give this place a try, you won't regret it! ”
